Unlike penstock valves, our Flapstopper™ Drain Closure Valve stops the flow dead, specific to containing pollution & firewater run-off.
Powered by compressed air, our pollution & firewater containment valves automatically close typically in under 10 seconds from local and remote activation from a push of a button or triggered via oil/PH interceptors, sprinklers, fire alarm systems, sensors, existing BMS/SCADA systems and more.
The Flapstopper™ Drain Closure System can be supplied with additional features such as remote activation via our cyber secure & reliable radio telemetry on and off-site, also known as the “Call Point”; SMS text status alerts; custom cloud dashboard valve status & email alerts using iOS/Android devices & desktop using a web browser.
All Flapstopper™ Drain Closure Systems use either a 12v battery back-up with either a 230v to 12v dc plug or 100Ahr battery back-up with 60w/120w solar panel as part of our floor standing GRP kiosk range.
